Sunny Reichert

Sunny Reichert was born in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She began dancing at the age of five, taking classes in ballet, tap and jazz. At the age of nine she joined her first company at the studio Vaughn’s Dance Academy. At thirteen, Sunny moved to a different company, Midwest Performing Arts Center, where she studied under Traci Marciniak (executive director of Company Dance) and other well known choreographers. As a member of Vital Edge, MPAC’s elite dance company, Sunny traveled all over the country performing and competing. She received scholarships to numerous conventions and took first place in nationals. After graduating from high school, she moved to Los Angeles to attend California State University Northridge where she is currently studying broadcast journalism and dance. Since moving to LA, Sunny has performed in numerous shows around the city, working with many different choreographers. She has also been on tour with an emerging rap artist and most recently filmed a few movies. Sunny choreographs for different studios around LA and Chicago and continually teaches weekly dance classes at Brentwood Academy of Dance and other schools. Sunny continues her own dance studies by taking classes daily at her university and area dance studios.
